by fuscialadybug (fuscialadybug)
at November 29th, 2005 (12:32 pm)

Dr. Joy Browne: ”saying that ‘I’m bisexual’ just means ‘Do me!’ That, ‘I don’t care who does me as long as somebody’…”

New Info: Dr. Joy Browne is syndicated on the WOR radio network. Dr. Browne has the 4th highest rated radio talk show according to Talkers magazine, she can be heard on 250 stations worldwide and has over 6 million listeners.

WOR's listener feedback phone line is 212-647-4500.

They do not have a general email for listener feedback but they publish executive emails on their "contact us" page and I was told by WOR that we can email them individually.

Bi History Lesson of the Month

Here are three poems by Lord Rochester. A movie about him is coming out with Johnny Depp called The Libertine. Although these poems were written in the 17th Century, they are probably raunchier than any you've read. The first two poems definitely have bi sections. The third is just funny as hell.

preferred spelling of "offense"

Bialogue page: as Tom pointed out the preferred spelling of offence is offense. We should probably change the c to an s.

Change has been implemented

(website) buttons

Suggestion: It looks to me like there is enough space to squeeze in another button. That way Bialogue could have its own button and page for the What is Bialogue?-type text. And the take action button would be the page you already have--with all the action alerts on it. That way the action alerts wouldnt get pushed down the page so we can explain Bialogue at the top.

And lets put: Take action, not just offense as a click thing under the Bialogue text (before the press release) on the text page or on the side column that will take people to the action alert page

Question About Animated Unicorn Gifs
by In Different Hues (indifferenthues)
at November 2nd, 2005 (11:32 am)

Hi, I'm one of the webmasters for the New York Area Bisexual Network (NYABN): www.nyabn.org.

We are having a slight "political" issue because various people ranging from conservative religious folk to Dr. Ruth & the New York Times say that we (that would be Bisexual People) do not actually exist. One of the movement's leaders made the following comment:

Sheeri's comment: "They think we are like unicorns, that we're fabled but don't really exist."

So I found your page: http://members.tripod.com/~waterdragon/pictures.html and would like to know about using one of your animated unicorn gif's on our website.

Would this be ok with you?

Where does info@nyabn.org mail go? Is it shunted to Larry's email? Or does it have its own separate email location that you have to check? Same question re: webmaster mail?
